If you are like me, you are ready to put 2020 in the rearview mirror.
There's one thing I hope you will do before Friday: please help us support redwood parks with a donation.
A group of people who love redwoods and our parks (just like you), have pledged to match $25,250 in donations if we receive them by December 31st.
But we have a LONG WAY to go, there's still $17,000 left in our Redwood Resilience Matching Fund.
Can you help by making a gift now? $50 is matched to make $100 for habitat restoration
$100 will become $200 for educational guides
$200 turns into $400 to serve visitors
$500 creates $1,000 for Junior Ranger programs
$1,000 becomes $2,000 to support redwood restoration projects
The need is great. Our park and public land partners have already told us that the pandemic and the resulting recession will mean budget cuts on programs that are already stressed. In the meantime, RPC hasn't been able to fundraise due to closed visitor centers and lower visitation in the parks. Redwood Parks Conservancy's support of programs will need help from people like you to continue.
THANK YOU for DOING YOUR PART!
Redwood Parks Conservancy
P.S. If you've already given online or mailed your donations, THANK YOU! If you've been planning on it, please do so now, so we can count it as part of the challenge!
Please keep this good work going and help us receive all the matching funds that have been pledged by giving now.
