Ash Wednesday Online Invite with The Rev. Margaret Rose
Church of the Heavenly Rest, NY

Lent is almost upon us - and we invite you to journey with us during this season, in sermon series, family activities, and worship. Read more at this link: www.heavenlyrest.org/lent-programming. Everyone is invited to join.

Ash Wednesday Service and Remembrance
Wednesday, February 17, noon

On Ash Wednesday, you can join us online for Morning Prayer and Compline, and a special service at Noon. We are respecting the Bishop of New York's guidance not to impose ashes this year. We’ll observe this day of prayer and remembrance by inviting everyone to come to the church to draw a cross on our sidewalk with charcoal. There will also be small cards with an ash cross to take home. If you can't come to church, you can mark your own sidewalk with a chalk or charcoal cross. Let us know if you'd like us to send you charcoal and a card.

The noon service will also be on the Church of the Heavenly Rest Web Site and will air on the Church of the Heavenly Rest Face book page.   https://www.facebook.com/heavenlyrest
