Zoom has put into place new mandatory security regulations designed to protect against “Zoombombers” who have been infiltrating Zoom meetings and posting pornographic or hate images or in other ways causing disruption. Church and Synagogue services have been particular targets. As of today, passwords are now a required part of the sign in process for Zoom to enhance security. What this means for us is a simple change in signing into our worship services.
There are two ways to join:
1) You can go to Zoom, Click Join a Meeting, Enter the meeting ID and then when prompted, the password. Meeting ID: 947 779 7880 Password: 531346
Tomorrow we will open Worship at 9:30 so there will be plenty of time for you to sign in and make sure you are up and running for the beginning of the service at 10:00 am. If tomorrow morning you are having trouble with signing in, you can text or call Paul Shikany at (917) 671-8649. He will be "tech support" for the thirty minutes leading up to the service.
The meeting ID and password will be the same for our afternoon "Gather with the Saints'" at 4:00 pm as well as for Monday's morning and evening services. We will send out the passwords for the rest of the Holy Week services on Monday.
