For our Featured Scientist section, we feature PhilRice scientist Dr. Roel R. Suralta. His work on root plasticity has hundreds of citations, which attest to the relevance of his research. Dr. Suralta has published widely in international high-impact journals. Surely, there is a thing or two that you can learn from him!
You probably have heard of the flatbed dryer, a machine that enables drying of palay during the rainy season. Now, we have one more in the offing. Dr. Manuel Jose C. Regalado shares with us about Rapid Far Infrared Ray Emitter Dryer. Learn more about it in the Featured Research section.

Our branch station in Los Baños has just launched its climate-smart projects. They also have recently started a new agreement with the Department of Education. The details are in this section.
