Members' Meeting For May
The Merry Month of May Members' Meeting will be held on Thursday 23rd.
Call in around 0930 for a quick cuppa prior to the meeting at 10am.
'Celebrations' is the theme for the Members' Challenge - any medium.
$5 entry. Guests welcome.
Special guest for the meeting: Chris Richardson - "Norah Head Lighthouse - An Artist's Dream". Artists have painted the lighthouse from the outside on numerous occasions, but Chris will show us that the inside and views from the balcony are just as paint worthy - with a video and a little of the history!

Good Times Workshops
This month's workshop is with Judith Hoste - Working In Pastels - at the CWA Hall on the 18/5/19.

Tammy's Found Objects Workshop has been re-scheduled for Saturday 15th June 2019 from 9.30 - 3.00pm. It's bound to be a hoot :)

Morning tea and all equipment will be provided..as with alll 'day' workshops please bring your own lunch.
Also in June will be 'Working In Oils' with Peter Fennell on Monday 17th June.

Charmhaven Lions Club Support Carnevale
Charmhaven Lions Club is now an avid sponsor of this year's TLAS Carnevale this August. They'll be providing: First Prize Trophies and $100 gift vouchers for Secondary School students (Yr 7 to Yr 12) and First Prize Trophies and art related gift packs for Primary School students (Kinder to Year 6) and for Runners Up ... medallions on lanyards ... Kinder to Year 12.

Craft Extravaganza Wyong Milk Factory
The society has received an invitation to be part of the
CRAFT EXTRAVAGANZA organised by Central Coast Woodturners,
to be held on the grounds of the Wyong Milk Factory, 141 Alison Road, Wyong
Saturday 16th November and Sunday 17th November.
The Woodturners require us to provide all the equipment needed, marques, tables, etc.,
They are suggesting 2 site sizes being approx. 3 metre x 3 metre and 3 metre x 6 metre.
If members are interested, they will need to be responsible for providing their own marques, tables etc and pay for their stalls. They will also need Working With Children Checks and Liability Insurance. If any member doesn't have liability insurance we can book the stall under 'TLAS' which will give them the certificate of currency needed.

Happy Mums Day, particularly to new mum (Bec). That's baby daughter pictured above, Lucy Jane, born on the 1st May. Her grandparents are still gloating over this one cute bub (Mal & Liz)
Member's Art House Exhibition
One of our newest members to TLAS, Patrick Smith, will have his own exhibition at Wyong's Art House from 13th June to 27 June. Patrick was also a special guest at our Members' Meeting late last year with some examples of his 'fluid' artwork.
