Library Closings
Monday December 31st the Library will close at 5pm.
Tuesday January 1st the Library will be closed all day.
Thursday January 17th the Library will be closed all day for Staff In-Service.
*Library Board Meeting will still be held on the 17th at 5:30pm.

Cook the Book
Neighboring on the Air- KMA
Tuesday Jan. 8th @ 6pm

Everyone use the same book.
None use the same recipe! 
Pick a recipe at the library and bring dish
to the ‘book club’ meeting.
For those who love to cook, love to eat
& love to visit with friends.
 Open to experienced and inexperienced cooks, alike.

Crafts, Coffee & Conversation!
Friday Jan. 18 1-3pm

Calling all crafters (and wannabe crafters) knitting, sewing, quilting, paper crafts, jewelry, etc.
Bring your current craft project to the library and enjoy the company of other crafters by our fireplace.  If you don’t have a project, stop by to visit and be inspired!

Coffee, treats and coloring sheets provided by the library.

Homebound Library Services
We are now offering a new service! Homebound delivery service is now available to City of Clarinda residents unable to visit the library due to physical disabilities or extended illness. Call Joni at the library for more information at 712-542-2416
Upcoming Programs & Events

Cord Cutting 101

Monday January 7th @ 4pm
Are your friends and family members talking about how they "cut the cord" and no longer have cable service? Are you confused by all of the options out there? Let us try to clear this up for you! We will discuss and explain ROKU, Fire Stick, Apple TV, Sling TV and Netflix as well as the free library apps available for streaming movies and television shows.

Game Night for Adults

Friday January 18th @ 7 pm
An evening of fun and board games for adults. Meet new people and test your skills. Snacks to share are welcome. This month it's Bring Your Own Board Game (BYOBg). The library will also have board games on hand to play.

TumbleBook Library

eBooks & Games for Kids!

TumbleBook Library offers eBooks, read-alongs, videos, audiobooks and games which help pre-school and K-3 level children learn while discovering the joys of reading.

TumbleBook Library is a great tool for parents and teachers to get kids to use the computer educationally as well as being a perfect choice for reluctant readers.
