Hello Sam Hughes CREW,
I hope you are all well and enjoying this cloudy and cool Monday!
I’m reaching out in case you missed the communication from Dr. Trujillo regarding the delay to the start of Hybrid Learning. Late Friday afternoon, after meeting with Pima County Health officials, Dr. Trujillo made the decision to maintain the Remote Instructional Model through the remainder of the 2nd Quarter, and revisit the start of the Hybrid Instructional Modal during the spring semester. I have attached his letter below.
As always, our entire Sam Hughes staff is committed to providing a nurturing and academically rigorous environment for our students, even during remote teaching & learning. However, as we all know, your child’s success is not solely dependent on the school and teacher, but your involvement is more vital now than ever. We know that it is very challenging for families to juggle it all, and please know that we will support you in any way we can. We are extremely thankful for your partnership in this learning journey.
We appreciate your support and value your continued patience and understanding, as we work together during this unprecedented school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us – teacher, office, health office, counselor, myself, etc. We are here to help!
We will continue to follow our Remote Instructional Model Schedule as we have since the start of the school year. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for specific schedule details, if you have any questions.
Also, please remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, November 11th, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
We are CREW!!!
