Hello Sam Hughes CREW!

As you know, we will be continuing our Remote Learning Schedule through the end of the 2nd Quarter. I will continue to share district updates as I receive them and assure you that we are continuing our preparations and planning for when the district makes the decision to begin Hybrid Learning.

The months of November and December are extremely busy months in the school year, even in the remote setting. In the coming weeks, students will engage quarterly benchmark assessments and will work with their teachers and classmates to share their holiday traditions.

I continue to be so proud of our school community as we face the ever-changing landscape of this school year. Together we are able to keep our students connected to the school they love and continue to engage them in learning. As you see each day, our teachers have done a phenomenal job of building relationships with their students and creating online classrooms. Thank you families for being our partner in this journey! Together, we are one amazing CREW!

New Attendance Tech in the Front Office

I am happy to announce that we have a new member of our CREW- Ms. Nichole! Nichole Lopez-Carley is our new Attendance Technician, now that Ms. Ilyssa is our Office Manager. Ms. Nichole joins the Sam Hughes CREW after serving the Ochoa community for the past 18 years. Ms. Nichole is extremely happy to be apart of the Sam Hughes CREW and is eager to help in any way she can. We are very excited to have her join our CREW!

Please continue to communicate student absences with the classroom teacher directly, or by calling 232-7402, to speak to Ms. Nichole! Thank you for your continued support!
