Welcome      About Us      Church Life      Our Services      Families      Hall Hire

Dear All
This week it is Messy Church at 4pm in the hall (no 9.15am service!) and we look forward to seeing you.

In case you haven’t heard,  Reverend Sharon Roberts has been appointed our new vicar and will probably join us soon, when we have been able to arrange a suitable date with Bishop Alan to licence her. Sharon is part of the Beaconsfield team at St. Mary’s at present, but many of you may already know her. She took our lovely Mothering Sunday service at the end of March and organized the beautiful prayer station in St.Michael’s during Holy Week. The decision by the interviewing panel was unanimous. Thank you God!

Only 1 week to our Spring Fair,  Margaret Skinner is desperate for tombola prizes please. Bakers please bring your cakes etc to the Church Meeting Rooms after 9.30am Friday if you would like them wrapped or Saturday morning (preferably early enough for them to be wrapped or bring wrapped by yourselves!)
We still need lots of volunteers, particularly for the children’s activities. The more volunteers, the more activities we can do! Even if you can only do an hour, it gives a stall holder a chance to have a cuppa or a burger! Thank you!

God bless
xands
Weekly Sheet 12th May
Can you spare a few hours a month for a worthwhile cause? The Beaconsfield Talking Newspaper captures local news and items of interest for the visually impaired.  We need somebody to join our team of editors.
The editor selects interesting articles from local publications and delivers them to a Team Leader for inclusion in a weekly broadcast.  The task is not difficult and anybody who is interested will be shown the ropes and given full support.
If you want to know more please contact Barbara Francis on 01494 673327 who will be delighted to explain what the job entails and, if you are interested, introduce you to one of our regular editors.
Please continue to support the Community Bus.  It will run on Mondays and Wednesdays around the town.  There are copies of the timetable and route at the back of church.
Cost £1 or free with a valid bus pass.
We need more volunteers please  !
