FIT360 (Outdoors)

Join us for 360° of heart pumping, fat burning and muscle toning circuit training! This fast paced, full body workout will challenge individuals of all fitness levels. If you’re looking to burn calories, tone your body and improve your overall fitness, then FIT360 is the class for you!

  • Ages: 18 +

  • Dates: 1/11 – 3/3 or 1/12 – 3/4  (8 weeks) No class on 1/18 & 2/15

Multi-Sports Training (Outdoors)

Do you want to be a multisport athlete? Then sign up for multi-sports training. There are several benefits to participating in a variety of sports. Keeping physically active has been proven to have tremendous physical and mental health benefits. In this program youth in 2nd - 8th grade will have the opportunity to learn a variety of sports fundamentals, and essential bio-motor skills, such as agility, balance, flexibility, power, speed, stamina, strength, and quickness. Training will be conducted by some of Pasadena's finest sports instructors. Space is limited.

Volleyball Training (Outdoors)
Looking for a fun and safe way to participate in volleyball training? Then look no further. Sign up for the coed youth volleyball training camp. Participants in 3rd – 8th grade will have the opportunity to stay physically active while working on volleyball fundamentals, skills, and conditioning.
Training will be conducted by some of Pasadena finest instructors.

Soccer Skill Building and Fundamentals (Outdoors)

The Villa-Parke Youth Soccer League is offering safe, fun, and well-organized skill building and fundamental sessions. We are excited and prepared to get back out on the field! Trained and experienced City staff will take to the field to help your child develop their soccer skills, while also developing overall fitness and conditioning.

Non-Contact Boxing Program (Outdoors)
Join us for coed, non-contact Olympic-style boxing geared towards health and fitness. The boxing program is a fundamentally structured, Olympic style boxing technique geared towards health and fitness lead by experienced instructors. Training will focus on improving overall fitness, mental and physical health in a fun, non-contact boxing program. Boxing greatly helps in the development of social skills, self-confidence, leadership, character and sportsmanship. * Days, times, and locations are subject to change

PE in the Park (Outdoors)
Youth fitness class is designed to provide a structured physical fitness program to develop strength, flexibility and endurance for children 6-17. This program helps children lead a healthier lifestyle while learning the importance of being actively fit. * Days, times, and locations are subject to change
  • Ages: 6-17 yrs.
  • Fee: $45
  • Location: Washington Park (Upper Field), 700 E Washington Blvd.
  • Dates: 1/12 – 3/4 or  1/ 13 - 3/5 (8 weeks) *No Class 2/12
  • Days/Times:  Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 am – 10:00 am or Wednesday & Friday 3 pm – 4 pm

Get Fit (Outdoors)
Looking for a unique class to Get Fit! Then this class is for you, we are incorporating Core Strength & Balance training. This class will incorporate stretching and balance moves to improve overall flexibility, balance & core strength. * Days, times, and locations are subject to change.

  • Fee: $45

  • Dates: 1/13  - 3/6 (8 weeks)

The After School Adventures Program (ASAP)

The After School Adventures Program (ASAP) is partnering with PUSD LEARNs, to provide all-day, in-person supervision from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday for a limited number of PUSD elementary students at 12 school sites. To attend the After School Adventures Program, participants must first be registered in the LEARNs program. Please go tohttps://www.pusd.us/learns  to find the list of participating school sites and register for the LEARNs program. The ASAP fee is $30.00 per child, per session. The After School Adventures Program is a socially active experience that encourages students from K to 5th Grade to be engaged and have fun! Experienced city staff facilitate a fun, safe and inclusive environment for recreational activities after school. Our program includes homework assistance, physical fitness activities, and enrichment opportunities that foster the well-being and encourage creativity of all participants.

The City provides scholarships to eligible participants ages 17 and under who live in Pasadena or attend a Pasadena Unified School District school. Scholarships are approved based on available funding. For more information, please contact the ASAP office at (626) 744-6500. 

Coloring outside the Lines (Virtual) 

Learn new ways to use familiar drawing tools.  Learn to draw the things you love and have fun doing so! Zoom credentials will be provided prior to first day of class. Please contact (626)744-6530 to schedule a pickup of art supplies prior to 1/8/2021.

Art outside the Box (Virtual)

Learn techniques that are fun, surprising and effective.  See through the eyes of an artist.  Find your inner Picasso! Zoom credentials will be provided prior to first day of class. Please contact (626)744-6530 to schedule a pickup of art supplies prior to 1/8/2021

The Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department has a new online class registration and park reservation system. This major upgrade brings improved mobile access, expanded search functionality, social sharing, and an easier registration experience to the City classes, programs, and facility reservations. Due to COVID-19 regulations, class registration is online only.
