4th International Social Prescribing Network Conference
'local and global triumphs and tribulations of social prescribing'

March 10th-11th 2022
Virtual format

Hello Everyone,

Here at SPN headquarters, we are pretty excited this month to show everyone our new logo and open bookings for our
4th International Social Prescribing Network Conference - 'the local and global triumphs and tribulations of social prescribing'.

The International Social Prescribing Network conference is a great opportunity for people to share research, knowledge, and best practice from around the world.  Over 1000 people attended from around the globe in March this year, and many people came because it was online and accessible, so we have decided to stay digital for the next conference.  It also means we can continue to keep our prices low.

Conference Format
Tickets will enable delegates to attend all scheduled sessions on the 10th and 11th March 2022.  There will also be a range of digital content available to delegates for several weeks after the conference – so catching up with sessions you couldn’t attend will be simple.  There will be a mixture of plenary sessions, breakout sessions, research-specific presentations, and poster displays interspersed with networking opportunities.   Last year we had great feedback on the virtual networking that was available with delegates and exhibitors so we aim to provide you with the opportunities to make those connections again next year.

Conference Content:
The conference will address the ‘hot topics in social prescribing,  as well as sharing the latest international research findings.  The conference programme will be developed in the next few months as we listen to suggestions from the social prescribing network members and see how the wider operating and political landscape develops.  We will update the programmes as speakers are confirmed. Email us if you think there are particular areas of social prescribing that need discussing, or new areas developing that we could shine a light on.

The end of the first day will also include the Social Prescribing Network Awards, where we celebrate the achievements of the social prescribing schemes and the people involved.

Who Should Attend?:
The conference is for anyone, from anywhere in the world who has a role in social prescribing or is interested in developing social prescribing – from providers of social prescribing activities, practitioners, and beneficiaries, through to link workers, commissioners of services, policymakers, funding bodies, and researchers.   The content is provided to facilitate collaboration and learning from colleagues in other social prescribing roles and sectors.  The conference is international and delegates from all countries around the world are welcome and encouraged to attend.
