September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance
September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance is the culmination of efforts, originally launched in 2002 that promotes community service on 9/11 as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks. Volunteers will come together to strengthen a community deeply impacted by the events of September 11th, 2001. You can register for one of many service opportunities throughout Jersey City. Hyatt Regency Hotel - 8:00AM-6:00PM
Each year many Americans observe the anniversary of 9/11 by donating blood with the American Red Cross. Eligible donors are encouraged to roll up a sleeve and honor all those who serve and sacrifice for our country at the Jersey City Police and Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Donors can choose a donation time between 8:00AM and 6:00PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. For more information or to schedule a donation time, click here

Jersey Cares will be hosting its annual September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance, a day of “unity, empathy and service as an enduring and positive tribute to those lost and injured.” On Saturday, September 7, 2019 volunteers will come together serve Jersey City, a community deeply impacted by the events of September 11th, 2001. Volunteers can sign up for one of two service opportunities:

Jersey City Reservoir #3 - 11:00AM-2:00PM
Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance will be hosting a cleanup on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. The mission of JCRPA is to preserve the historic structures and natural resources of Jersey City Reservoir #3, establish the site as a public park and wildlife sanctuary, and promote educational and recreational opportunities at the Reservoir.
