NZE Living in the Hudson Valley

December 6

For our western Connecticut audience:
Join NESEA for a tour of a two-family, NZE residential project located within walking distance of the Cold Spring Metro-North stop!

The hosting team from The Figure Ground Studio will detail the process for designing and building these two structures, including open floorplans with passive solar heating, compact and efficient design, a green roof, landscape integration, and accessible design. Because this project is striving for Living Building Petal certification, you'll also receive insight into the process of selecting materials with low toxicity and lower environmental impact at point of manufacture, point of use, and point of disposal.

When: Friday, December 6, 1pm to 5pm
Where: Cold Spring, NY

For events we organize or sponsor, we will set up a GroupCarpool to help our sustainability-loving community save gas and curb greenhouse gas emissions.  It's a simple interface that does not require setting up an account.

We encourage you to use this tool in your daily life as well.
