Staying Connected

Two Worship Services
Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m.

In-Person and Online

We are excited to be back to in-person worship this Sunday, July 5. You will note the change in time for the contemporary service to 11 a.m. This is to allow time between the services for exiting and entering as well as some sanitizing. Here's a short video with Pastor Chris and Pastor Annettra doing a walkthrough for what you can expect if you attend in-person on Sunday mornings.

Those of you who submitted an RSVP should receive an email with your seating assignment. If you did not, please do not worry, when you stop at the Welcome Center to check-in, both the people checking in and the ushers will have your seat assignment and the usher will show you to your seat.

If you aren't comfortable returning to in-person worship yet, that's OK. You can still watch our online worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10 a.m. We have two options for viewing the service:
  1. Livestream
  2. Facebook Live
Both options will connect you to a Livestream of the service.

The following information should help you prepare for the service. The scripture and song lyrics can be found by clicking on the scripture reference and song title.

Preaching: Pastor Annettra Jones
Scripture: Matthew 11:16-19; 25-30

Traditional Service at 8:30 a.m.  Contemporary Service at 10 a.m.

Communion this Sunday

It is our tradition to have Communion at St. Andrew on the first Sunday of the month. We will once again be celebrating Communion together with you both in person and from a distance. If you are worshiping from home, you will need to prepare to share Communion with us. Specifically, you'll need to gather your Communion supplies--bread and juice, or something to symbolize these elements. It can be a piece of bread, cracker, or even a cookie along with juice, wine, or some other beverage. As we worship together online, Pastor Chris or Pastor Annettra will bless the elements (including yours from afar). Follow the pastor's instruction for Communion as we simultaneously share the symbols of the body and blood of our Lord and Savior.

Interactive activities: If you are worshipping from home, please post a photo on Facebook of your family sharing Communion. We cherish seeing your faces while we are apart.

Bashor Home School Supplies

Bashor Children’s Home was established in 1901 as a Methodist orphanage. It has evolved through the years and it now has an emergency shelter, a therapeutic residential facility, family therapy, an alternative school, an intervention program for at-risk elementary school students, and a therapeutic foster care training program.

We are collecting supplies from August 2 through 16. Please place supplies in the designated collection box outside the church office. The following is a list of the supplies needed:
