Connector JPA Holds Public Workshop on Elk Grove Segment
The Connector JPA on Wednesday, April 5, is holding a public workshop on the proposed Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for Segment B2 of the project in Elk Grove on Grant Line Road between Mosher Road and Bradshaw Road.  The workshop will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Elk Grove High School, 9800 Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove.

The Connector JPA proposes to reconstruct the roadway in that area to four lanes with an adjacent Class 1 bike/pedestrian trail on the west/north side of the alignment.  The Initial Study shows that the proposed project will not significantly affect the quality of the environment, resulting in development of a Mitigated Negative Declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act. Comments on the IS/MND are being accepted through April 10.  Additional information is available on the Connector JPA website at www.connectorjpa.net.
