Spin Classes

Have you tried our new bikes and classes?

Our new bikes are a one-of-a-kind premium indoor cycle that combines award-winning design, a two-stage drivetrain and an engaging digital experience. An extremely accurate WattRate Power Meter, Coach by Colour intensity guide, and precise 100-level magnetic resistance make the IC6 a state-of-the-art indoor cycle.
Our Classes are:
Monday - 09.30-10.15 with Cheryl (6 week trial) / 19.15-20.00 with Jenny
Tuesday - 06.40 -07.15 with Cheryl
Wednesday - 10.15-11.00 with Simona (6 week trial) 
Tuesday - 19.15-20.00 with Cheryl
Thursday - 06.40-07.15 with Darren / 19.15-20.00 with Keiron
Saturday with Daren - 08.10-08.40
Saturday with Cheryl - 09.45-10.35
There are also two new bikes in the upstairs stretch area if you would like to try them rather than in a group.

Club Party - Sat 6th July 

The annual summer drinks party will be held between 6pm - 12pm with drinks, nibbles, the ever so famous Steve Lewis disco, lots of other entertainment, challenges and prizes. All Member and guests are welcome and there is free entry so no excuse not to get dressed up and have some fun!

Note, the facilities will close a little earlier, at 7pm.

The Greener River Club

To make the Club as environmental friendly as possible we are implementing some new policies but also ask for your help as below:
  • Introducing recyclable bins around the Club so please separate appropriately.
  • Removing the plastic ear buds in the changing rooms before the April ban.
  • Whilst we have implemented new water saving shower heads taking shorter showers also helps in saving water and also by not leaving taps running unnecessarily especially when shaving.
  • Keep windows closed when the air conditioning is on.

New Adults and children Tennis Classes
We will run a mixed tournament prior to Wimbledon on the Saturday 29th of June and will offer prizes for the winners and runner up.
We will be running a Junior tournament for our Junior players on the Saturday 6th of July 2019.
The Tennis Team will run Junior tennis camps during the summer holidays for 6 weeks from 15/07/19, 1pm until 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Signing into the Club for Members & Guests

We try and keep a relaxed approach so there is a home away from home atmosphere for Members and Guests and hence why we do not have gates at the front entrance or swipe-in security to the outer buildings like most other Clubs.

It is however a condition of our Health and safety and Insurance that Members and guests sign in at Reception before using the Club's facilities. 

There are signs around the Club to this effect and we will be conducting spot checks so please help the staff in carrying out their duties.

Upcoming Events

  • After the success of the recent Cream Tea, we are reintroducing it every weekend in June, 12 - 6pm. For more information and to book a place contact Reception on 020 8337 7788.
  • During Wimbledon from July 1st -14th  we will also be serving Pimm’s with strawberries and cream. Learn more about Tennis in the section on Tennis events.
  • Look out for our monthly gym challenges testing your strength, stamina and overall fitness as well as weight loss seminars which will be posted on our notice boards. The fitness team are happy to help with more information.
  • We are holding a seminar on the benefits of weight training on 24th and 28th June in the conservatory. No need to book, see more information on the Club's noticeboards.
  • We are posting recipe of the week also on the Club's noticeboards to help you eat better and have a healthier lifestyle. Do you know that approximately 70%-80% of weight loss is due to diet?

To help you keep on track or if you feel like a change to your routine why not book in for an induction/re-program with one of our qualified instructors? Just speak to Reception.

Member Referrals

The Win a Bike referral (which is hanging in Reception) comes to an end on June 30th and the winner will be announced at the party on July 6th. Thank you for all those Members who have referred friends as this is the main way we continue to thrive as a Club and keep the Club as a home away from home feeling.

Its not to late to be entered into the prize draw - remember you will also receive a choice of a £25 John Lewis voucher, a box of wine or a beauty treatment as a thank you.

We have updated our website to make it easier for Members to find information, from classes, opening hours and the other services we offer. So if you have not had a chance to look please feel free to do so.

New Branded Products

We have introduced a new range of branded T-Shirts, rucksacks, gym sacks, aqua mitts and take away cups, all available at Reception now.

Locker Rental

We have a number of small lockers in the Men’s changing rooms which are available to rent which are suitable to leave shoes and clothing in.

Member Updated Health Questionnaire 

As part of our Health and Safety and Insurance Members are required to sign a health questionnaire (Par Q form) to ensure that if a Member has any medical condition that we are made aware so an Individual programme can be set and we can gain any input from your GP if required.

If you have not filled one in, or your medical condition has changed, simply pick up a form from Reception and fill in so we can help you to exercise safely.

We do not get everything right all the time and cannot improve our service without your input so please fill in a Comment Card at Reception or email

Club Etiquette

We pride ourselves in being different to most other clubs. We like to think we’re a home away from home with a relaxed atmosphere. We ask that in order to preserve this, the following is observed:
  • Members must bring in their Membership card and register at Reception.
  • Members should cancel any group exercise classes with at least 24 hours notice
  • Used towels are to be placed in the bins provided and locker doors closed after use
  • Lockers are for day use only. 
  • Last entry to the Club is 60 minutes before closing. Please check our website for times.
  • No tea or coffee permitted in the gym areas.
