Tonight, August 7th, the Planning Board will hear testimony regarding the Toll Bros. residential development, known as Middletown Walk, which is adjacent to the already-approved Village 35.
There will be presentations regarding density of the housing (280 townhouses plus 3 buildings containing 70 affordable housing rental apartments), limited green space, and anticipated significantly increased traffic.
This could be the last meeting for the Toll Bros. residential application.
Minding Middletown/Stop Village 35 will continue the good fight. We have a lawsuit pending, which challenges the designation of the site as an area in need of redevelopment.
We ask you to join us in this challenge. Show the Township that we will not back down by attending this meeting. Fill the room. Ask your questions. Make your comments.
Our Goals for the Village 35 Redevelopment Plan are:
Create more open passive and recreational space, be mindful of the rights of surrounding residents, reduce additional traffic congestion, public involvement for the design and a plan that is appropriate for the area and protects our quality of life.
