Hi Everyone,

Thanks to all the residents who came out Wednesday night, May1st, to the first Toll Bros. meeting only to wait there for three hours and then find out the application would not be heard! 

We are trying to figure out why Toll Bros. was scheduled in the first place, along with two other applications (one expecting a vote), on the agenda. At 9:30pm, I had to ask for an announcement that our agenda item was being postponed; the Board was not going to tell us Circus Liquors Redevelopment Plan (CLRP) would not be heard. 

Is this yet another effort to keep residents from attending these meetings? 

The Toll Bros. meeting was rescheduled for Wednesday, June 19th.


Wednesday, May 15th - 6:30 pm, Town Hall
CLRP commercial developer, NRDC, Engineer Review Re-Do

This meeting will essentially be a repeat of the meeting of March 20th, which was declared null after residents argued that the Township and the developer had failed to properly notice many residents who were legally entitled to such notice.

We know there will be testimony from the NRDC engineer, if time allows there may be testimony from the NRDC traffic expert. At this time, CLRP is scheduled first on the meeting’s agenda, with two additional applications scheduled to be heard. This crowded schedule may/may not preclude the traffic expert from speaking at this meeting.
If the NRDC traffic expert will be permitted to testify, we will need people in the room! Traffic is our primary argument—excessive additional traffic and its impact on our quality of life. We will reach out by text (if we have your contact information) and on Facebook in real time and ask you to run down to Town Hall and join us immediately at the meeting.

We know these meetings can sometimes be long and tiresome. We appreciate each and everyone one of you coming out to meetings and staying involved.
