-------------------------------------------------- SERIAL MARKETER WEEKLY Issue 90: Breathe
From Serial Marketer: "The Cutting Edge of Marketing” serialmarketer.net
--------------------------------------------------
How strange is it that the one thing we need to do right now is also what can kill us?
Breathe.
I'm adapting day by day, working on some new projects. I thought I'd be getting some face-time with these companies. Now it's all Slack and Hangouts and Zoom.
I'm working on ideas for a couple of virtual events, one that's adapting First Wednesdays with Zack Rosenberg, and another in collaboration with Online Geniuses.founder David Markovich. I hope to have more to share soon. You'll also see below that I'm trying out a series for the Slack community that may become a weekly virtual gathering.
Meanwhile, having the whole family home at the same time is... wonderful.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating slightly. I'm quite happily married, but I'm also convinced that before the baby boom people anticipate around New Year's, there will be a divorce boom. Couples that are being tested like this, spending so much time confined together in the same space, may realize that this is a test they can't pass. If I was a divorce lawyer, I'd be hiring staff right now.
During strange times, this is a strange issue. As I shift all kinds of things I'm working on and ways I'm working, including placing an Ikea order that made me appreciate how much easier it is to order office furniture than toilet paper right now, I'm keeping the intro shorter. I had much more to write, but it doesn't feel quite right yet. As a plus side, when I've needed another creative outlet, I've been expanding Berky's Marketing English and plan to release it with 100+ entries as a short e-book (or very long white paper) in the coming weeks.
Below, you'll find more links than usual and lots more virtual events, plus a growing list of job resources (like Hunterz). Please let me know about any other events and links to include going forward, and of course jobs.
This week, you're getting a lot more about what I've been making of myself. Now it's your turn. How are you holding up? How is your health? And what are you making of yourself?

Below are events that are either virtual or scheduled far enough out that they hope to be real-world functions. Please send over any great virtual events you're hosting or attending, and I'll add them to the list.
