Have you heard about Swim Central?
Swim Central is the new online portal which will link all your interactions with swimming into one handy location – and it’s almost live in Queensland!
Swim Central is nearly ready to get racing, it’s lined up behind the blocks and waiting for the referee – we’re excited and hope you are too!
In Queensland, the Swim Central Pilot will be taking place in the FNQ Region only. All other regions will be joining FNQ in Swim Central in May this year! But, please ensure you don’t false start and jump in too early as all members will receive a ‘Welcome Email’ with clear instructions when Swim Central is ready for them.
More information will continue to be sent out directly to club contacts and registrars; including FNQ specific communication regarding the upcoming pilot.

Swimming Queensland, with the support of our Major Sponsor, McDonald's, offer Swim Schools the opportunity to host a Macca’s Mini Meet.
Macca's Mini Meets are novelty swim meets designed to introduce swim school students to the joy of racing in the pool, inspiring them to become better swimmers and are a great way for swim schools to give added value to their students. Each swimmer attending a Macca’s Mini Meet will receive a FREE Macca's Mini Meet Participant Pack, provided by Swimming Queensland and our major sponsor, McDonald's.
The Macca’s Mini Meet program is a great initiative for clubs to share with their local Swim School. Swimming Queensland would like to encourage all clubs to establish a relationship with their local Swim School/s.
We all know there's wonderful people who go above and beyond to make our Clubs and community a better place. Now is the time to shine the spotlight on them thanks to the Westfield Local Heroes grant program.
Westfield Local Heroes discovers and celebrates individuals who promote social wellbeing and/or harmony in our communities through their work, programs or activities, across one or more of the three social values of Family, Youth Opportunity and Inclusion.
Nominations for Westfield Local Heroes open until April 8th, with three finalists per Westfield centre each awarded a $10,000 grant for their affiliated organisation to support their work and programs.
