Have you heard about Swim Central?
Swim Central is the new online portal which will link all your interactions with swimming into one handy location – and it’s almost live in Queensland!
Swim Central is nearly ready to get racing, it’s lined up behind the blocks and waiting for the referee – we’re excited and hope you are too!
In Queensland, the Swim Central Pilot will be taking place in the FNQ Region only. All other regions will be joining FNQ in Swim Central in May this year! But, please ensure you don’t false start and jump in too early as all members will receive a ‘Welcome Email’ with clear instructions when Swim Central is ready for them.
More information will continue to be sent out directly to club contacts and registrars; including FNQ specific communication regarding the upcoming pilot.
Could your Club use a share of $100,000 to funding their next project? Thanks to the Queensland Country Good for Good Community Grants your Club could receive between $5,000 and $30,000 for projects that make a practical difference to the lives of Queenslanders.
Queensland Country Good for Good Community Grants is a partnership between Queensland Credit Union (QCU) and Ronald McDonald House North Australia, designed as a way of giving back to communities, and paying it forward to our QCU’s Charity Partner, Ronald McDonald House North Australia.

Have members of your club travelled to a State, National or International swim meet in the last 6 months, or planning to attend an upcoming meet in the near future?
Make sure they know about the Queensland Government’s
Young Athletes Travel Subsidy Grant.
This grant aims to foster the development of young athletes and support elite athlete pathways by providing financial assistance to help alleviate the costs associated with attending championship events.
The travel subsidy provides financial assistance to athletes under the age of 18 who have travelled 250km or more to attend an eligible State, National or International meet 6-months prior to lodging their application.
