Clubs and Regions Invited to Affiliate for 2019-2020 Season
Clubs and Regions have now been invited to affiliate with Swimming Queensland for the 2019-2020 season.
Affiliation is the first step to get everything going for the new season. If you haven’t received your invitation, click here to view.
Affiliation is a three step process: Step 1
Completion of the online affiliation form here.
Payment of the affiliation invoice (which has been emailed to your Treasurer).
Completion of the Entity Checklist to update all details in Swim Central for the new season. View checklist here.
An affiliation confirmation email will be sent once all three steps have been completed and we have confirmed no fees are outstanding.
Please note, if the affiliation process has not been completed before 1 July, access to Swim Central will be impacted for your Club until steps 1 and 2 of the process have been completed.
Membership fees for the 2019-2020 season have now been set.
You can view the fees for each region by clicking on the button below or heading to our website here!
These membership fees include the Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland and your Region's membership fee components.
Please note, we will provide details on how to complete the membership renewal process through Swim Central at our upcoming training sessions and through detailed resources - please ensure you do not action anything in Swim Central just yet.
Head to our website to view our meet information booklet, including the qualifying times, program of events, event details and entry procedures. Our event page will also be updated with the entry list, timeline and live results links as the information becomes available.
To help you beat the crowds at the gate, online tickets will also be available shortly through Ticketbooth. Don’t forget if you do purchase online you can simply bring your tickets (printed or electronic) straight to the online tickets counter at the event.
Swimming Queensland is committed to a swimming-for-all philosophy by creating opportunities for all Queenslanders to participate in our sport. We encourage clubs to provide a safe, fun an inclusive environment for people of all ages, abilities, skill levels and backgrounds.
Creating an inclusive club enables individuals to experience the water in a safe and fun environment and provides important learning experience that benefit the entire community by:
Providing safer water-aware clubs and schools;
Fostering health and fitness;
Developing swimming competition opportunities;
Creating family orientated activities;
Facilitating community cohesion and more social engagement.
We have information for how clubs can create a more inclusive environment for their members on our website here. In addition to this, Play By The Rules have a great range of resources and articles to help your club.
