Ronald Roach

With a career spanning 27 years in the fields of operations management, project management and waste management, Ronald Roach is an advocate for improved environmental management not just here in Trinidad and Tobago, but across the Caribbean.  As a waste management consultant, he is currently engaged in several waste management projects within the Caribbean region and is also facilitating a recycling and waste management short course at the SBCS Global School of Business in Trinidad.

He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited and was charged with the responsibility of providing strategic vision, planning and operational leadership to the company and, inter alia, to drive overall growth and expansion of the company.

After graduating from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1992, Ronald went on to receive a post-graduate certificate in Environmental Management, as well as his Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.  He also has formal training in quality management and disaster management.

Ronald enjoys traveling and experiencing nature and wildlife and is an avid nature photographer when time allows.

Rhea King-Julien

Ms. King-Julien's diverse background has its roots firmly planted in building bridges: facilitating interconnections among NGOs, CBOs, state agencies, entrepreneurs and companies (public and private) in the food production sector.

A qualified aquaculturist trained in Scotland, Thailand and the United States, she returned to Trinidad in 2012 with the aim of connecting state and private enterprises to the formal tertiary level educational system.

Her passion for meaningful connections evolved over time facilitating the development of a service-based NGO to bridge the gap between funding sources (local and international) and projects which aim to effectively address the needs of Trinidad and Tobago. The Sunbeam Foundation was birthed soon after, and serves as main platform for this endeavour.

Riyadh Mohammed

Riyadh Mohammed was born into agriculture, working on his family’s duck farm from a tender age. With a name that means meadows or gardens, it seemed destined that he would continue to grow and succeed in the agriculture industry. He graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture (Hons) and  a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Technology (Hons) from the Eastern Caribbean Institute of Agriculture and Forestry (ECIAF). Riyadh went on to earn a MSc in Tropical Animal Science and Production (Distinction) from the UWI, certificates from the University of Edinburgh, Duke University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He is currently a PhD candidate for Livestock Science and owns R and K Tropical Agriculture Production with his wife.

TOOFLESS aka Timothy Dabreo is a 20 year old Arima born artist with a knack for expressing himself in every medium possible. TOOFLESS grew up in Carapo in an artistic family of musicians and artists. Growing up surrounded by art, naturally informed his path and his eccentric personality. He began dreaming of being an illustrator in his 4th year at Arima Central Secondary but expanded his dreams to music after betting his friend he could make a mixtape in 5 days; a bet which he successfully won. After noticing his potential he began on the path to ultimate expression. His artistic themes centre around inspiring himself and others to be more than we are. From his 5 released eps, his self directed music videos to his dreams of creating feature films and teaching, seems TOOFLESS isn't stopping any time soon in his pursuit to "be more".
Keep your eyes open for what this energetic young talent has on the horizon.
