This is going to be an awesome Eugene Sunday Streets! Why? PERFORMANCES! We have some of the best performances lined up in Eugene Sunday Streets history. And the best part- they are all FREE!
So soak in the final summer sun rays, get on your bicycle, take the EMX for FREE and come enjoy Eugene Sunday Streets Churchill with us this Sunday, noon to 4pm. Its a two mile route with three activity centers, three stages, food carts, vendors, OPEN STREETS and all that you love about Eugene !!

Building a Better Transportation Future Together
A well-planned transportation system supports a thriving community. To that end, the City of Eugene and Lane Transit District are encouraging input this month on five key travel corridors under consideration for investments. The public comment period is open from September 10 - October 10. Participate in an online open house or drop by any of these events:

Downtown Riverfront Park – Final Concept Meeting

The City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division and the design consultant team led by Walker Macy are seeking community input at the last in a series of public meetings. On Thursday, September 27, weigh in on the final design concept for the Downtown Riverfront Park. All ages are welcome, including kids, and light refreshments will be provided. RSVP here.

Breakfast at the Bike Bridges: Autzen Footbridge

Breakfast at the Bridges is designed for path users and commuters to grab a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee, meet City staff, learn more about transportation in Eugene, and get a bicycle safety check all at the same time.
This signature summer event series celebrates the outdoors and encourages active transportation – especially walking and bicycling – to meet larger City goals, including: healthy living, sustainability and a vibrant business community. Breakfast at the Bridges features local advocacy organizations and local businesses who actively work toward these City goals.

Volunteer Thank You & Fashion Show

This is a special THANK YOU party for all our volunteers, sponsors and staff who helped make our season of Sunday Streets, Smartrips, Breakfast at the Bike Bridges, and Party in the Parks a success. If you attended these events and would like to join in, you are welcome too.
This is also a special goodbye to two of our amazing long-standing coordinators- Lee Miller and Emily Farthing. Emily has taken a Director position at Nova Era Vidigal Coliving - Coworking - Bar in Rio de Janeiro and will be leaving for Brazil, and a bike trip on her Bike Friday through Central America shortly after this party. Lee Miller will also be embarking after this event to cycle through the U.S. and potentially South America as well. Epic bike adventures await!
We will celebrate with free pizza, a Winter Wear Bike Gear Fashion Show, a live DJ, and raffle prizes. Bring a friend and come have some fun at our last hoorah of the season!
