Some Final Updates as 2022 Comes to a Close

I've got two new items on the Who's Moving Where page, and a reminder--there are more than a dozen more from November. 

I've also made some updates to my conferences, retreats, and workshops schedule. This includes registration opening for this spring's "Crash Course in Children's Book Publishing," which starts February 28, online via the Highlights Foundation. And a reminder here too: I've got two online workshops coming up: "Reading Like an Editor" on January 8, and "Revision Toolkit" on January 22. Details and links to register on the conferences page.

Happy New Year!

It's been quite a year. For me personally, a busy year as I completed my first year at Kane Press, while also maintaining the Purple Crayon and continuing to offer workshops. Another year of the pandemic, a year in which Russia brought war to Europe, a year in which climate change continued. . . and also a year in which people worked to find solutions to our world's many problems, and in which many of you worked hard to create the best possible children's books for today's children, who will be tomorrow's adults. Thank you for being a part of our business, and I hope the year to come will be a good one for you.
