Dear <<First Name *>>,

I hope this note finds you and your family safe and well.

While 2020 has been a tough year in many ways, and we've lost some dear friends, my heart is thankful for you.  And though we haven't seen each other recently, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

There's so much I want to share, but firstly, I hope these amazing trails, fall colors and sunsets will make you smile and lift your spirits!
Above are the Campsie Fells, Loch Linnhe at Ft. William and remnants from a croft in Glen Nevis.

When I'm discouraged, I like to walk... and pray... although, sometimes I'm sure it sounds a lot more like whining to God, but thankfully He is a patient listener.  :>}

Not long ago, on one of those walks, lost in my burdens, I was totally missing the blessings of autumn colors, sunshine and the fresh breeze.  Then, from up above, a tiny bird began singing...one of the sweetest songs I'd ever heard, drowning out my dark thoughts and providing new perspective.

God is good that way...offering sweet reminders of His great love for us...especially when our hearts are heavy.
Along with making music, I've been working on a novel...

William Ridley & the Celtic Cross

There's so much good stuff in there, I can barely contain my excitement...plus, I believe it will be more than just a good read, but a source of hope and healing.

The back cover blurb goes a bit like this...

Amid the ancient ruins of Tantallon Castle, and Scotland’s often bloody history, the unexplainable appearance of a silver cross catapults William Ridley into an epic battle with demonic forces.  Dubbed, “Defender of the Faith,” his honor, family, friends and the girl he loves are under attack, and even his newly acquired title can’t stop what’s coming.  Here there be dragons as William Ridley and the Celtic Cross leaves you dangling over the precipice of authentic faith.

While still in the final editing stage, an author must exhibit a strong social media following to secure an agent or a publisher.

That said, if you haven't already, it would help so much if you'd click the link and Like or Follow William Ridley & the Celtic Cross on FaceBook.  If you really like it, share it with your friends and ask them to like it too.

More on this very soon!
Although the novel has taken most of my time these days, along with being a Royal Mail postie, I'm still working on music...

If time allows, I hope to have a new music video for Christmas...

Meantime...
Here's a soothing, impromptu selection filmed in lovely Fintry

If you haven't seen it, click the photo and enjoy Scotland's beauty...filmed on the Isle of Skye....plus, you'll catch a glimpse of Tantallon Castle!
