Hello lovelies!

It's Friday evening as I write this and I'm curled up on my couch watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I just got back from saying goodbye to my best friend as she departs NYC for the foreseeable future. As a part of our last hurrah, we visited the Harry Potter exhibit at the New York Historical Society. It was fantastic, and if you're located in NYC, I recommend taking the trip!

So, last week I failed you all by not putting together this newsletter and I want to explain why. I've been single for the better part of the last three or four years. I'm quite comfortable this way, but it sometimes gets boring, and we all know that as the temperature cools, our hearts warm. It's cuffing season and I've been dating. Let me tell you, I don't like 90% of the people I actually meet up with, for various reasons that I don't discover until we're together in person. However, a month and a half ago I struck up a conversation with this beautiful boy on Bumble and two weeks later we went on a date. It went so swimmingly and I felt something! It was so exciting, and he felt it too. After assuring me there would be a second date and making out a little bit, we parted ways and kept talking over text. Which brings me to last week. After a month of developing feelings for this beautiful boy, he let me know that he's overwhelmed with this new life in NYC and can't date right now. So I took last weekend to mourn the loss of what could have been and heal the tiny tear in my heart.

So this week's newsletter contains two week's worth of content that I hope you'll enjoy as the temperature drops even further this weekend. Snuggle up, light a candle, and read some articles. It's what I'll be doing too.

xx Sarah

PS. I put up my little pink christmas tree already. Come at me. It snowed, tis the season!

Psst. This is a new newsletter, joining the race of amazing newsletters everywhere (my favorites are GNI, Ann Friedman Weekly, and the NYT's Gender Letter). It would be super awesome of you were to share it with a friend and get them to subscribe as well. Then I might be able to lure sure cool brands to our platform and finally pay myself (and Malaika) for all of this amazing pink work I (we) do <3 Thanks in advance and I love you!
