Membership Registration / Social Mornings
We will continue membership registration and social coffee/tea, weather permitting, at the picnic shelter in the Parksville Community park every Friday morning – 9:30 to 11:30 am.
Friday slo-pitch players who play the first game are welcome to drop by and have a coffee after your game wraps up.
PGOSA membership is available as well as a knowledgeable person regarding our activities and events, so if you have questions regarding participation drop by and chat with the representative – they will point you in the direction you need to go to get involved.

Here's how to get your PGOSA Membership
In Person
The PGOSA Table is now at Parksville Community Park on Friday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30. (weather permitting.)
Coffee/treats will be available for a nominal fee of $1.00. Come on out, socialize and even play some horseshoes or bocce. Watch and cheer on the PGOSAns playing slo-pitch ball in the Friday morning league.
Online membership application now available here and is always open. Your PGOSA membership card will be emailed to you for you to print and keep in your wallet or save and display on your smartphone. Or have it mailed to you. You can order your PGOSA name badge at the same time.
Mail-in. Download the membership form from our website, fill it in, print it off, sign it, and mail it to us with payment and a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Mail to PGOSA, P.O. Box 957, Parksville, V9P 2G9.
Your membership card will be mailed to you in the envelope you provide.
The membership fee for 2022 remains $15. All memberships expire on December 31 of the membership year.

Community Love Run! - Mark your calendar!
Help support the track replacement, spread the love, and join us in a fun run track fundraiser Sunday, June 26th 1-3 pm at the Ballenas Secondary School track.
Get a team together and tag off, or run, walk , roll on your own. There will be prizes for the most laps run or walked in an hour as well as special prizes for the best dressed, most funds raised, most unique, etc.) Refreshments, food and music will be provided. Get your pledge form here.
The event will culminate in announcing our West Jet raffle draw winner! Be sure to buy your raffle ticket $10 / ticket - you could be the lucky winner of two West Jet return tickets wherever they fly! Tickets can be purchased online.
In Memory of Frank Carr
Frank Carr was a member and avid Pickleball player for a time before Covid. After a 10 month battle with cancer, Frank passed on his own terms, May 6, his 78th birthday, in Sherwood Park, Alberta, surrounded by his wife, Maggie, and 3 daughters.
Our condolences go out to his wife, family and friends.
