At Polo Farm (club house) on Monday 24th June at 7.30pm

This is an open invitation to all club parents (and older junior members – U16, U18’s) to come along and participate in the annual AGM. You are all welcome.

Pro Series Indoor UK

Brings the fast, fun and exciting nature of the indoor game to the forefront and gives young aspiring hockey players the opportunity to enhance their game.  Indoor hockey is the perfect vehicle to improve technical skills and decision making on the field.
The PSi organisation started in South Africa and has spread to the Netherlands and Ireland.  This year sees it's launch in the UK.  There are six regionally based centres around the country all led by well known names in the field of coaching - Polo Farm will be the home for the Canterbury Cavaliers, led by Kwan Browne.  Through the course of the year coaching programmes will be delivered with an end goal of attendance at various tournaments located both in the UK and Europe.

Our initial bank of six sessions start in mid May and our first target competition will be the Southampton Intercity Showdown on the 19th and 20th October. Here's the details:-

Thursdays 16th and 23rd May, 6th, 13th and 27th June, and 4th July

Times: (Years of Birth)
2006 to 2008 (2009 by invitation) - 18.30 to 19.45
2003 to 2005 - 19.45 - 21.00

Fee: £50 – pre-booking and payment is required

1.  Half Term Game Days
A short session of skills followed by a round robin of matches. Not too serious and plenty of fun.

Fee: £10.00 - non members welcome.  

10.00 to 12.30
Wednesday 29th May - Years 6 to 8
Thursday 30th May - Years 2 and 3, 4 and 5.

Pre booking required - sign up at
 2.  Skill Shops - Mondays, 15th July to 19th August (6 sessions)
Specific skill sets tackled by quality coaches.

18.00 to 19.00 Years 4 and 5
19.00 to 20.00 Years 6 to 8

Fee:  £10 per session or £50 for all six if paid in advance.

3.  Summer Camps led by Kwan Browne & Guest Coaches
Great preparation for the season ahead for players in Years 2 through to 9.  Grouping will reflect age, experience and ability.

Tuesday to Friday 27th to 30th August - 10.00 to 12.30.

Fee:  £25 per session or £85 for all four.  Pre-booking and payment is required.

4.  East Kent Development Programme (Kent Hockey)
Many of you will be aware that this is the first rung on the ladder to representative hockey.  Canterbury HC hosts the East Kent programme which is open to all players of a suitable standard, from local clubs, schools, etc.  This year's programme will run during the summer months and will be led by Chris Laslett, CHC Director of Junior Coaching, and supported by a team of experienced coaches.

Open to players born 2003 to 2008

Sundays -
30th June 09.30 to12.00
7th July 13.00 to 15.30
1st September 09.30 to 11.30
8th September 12.00 to 14.00

Fee:  £75
