Meet one of Generate's hardware teams!

"The goal of Project Phoenix is to develop a convertible high-heeled shoe that transforms from a high-heel to a flat! The team is currently working on developing a structure that can adapt to the changing needs of the shoe's shape. Transitioning the sole from arched to flat requires compliant materials that can be difficult to form so our team is currently developing processes to form our custom designs as well as iterating on the client's past work! We are all hoping to deliver a product that can be appreciated by everyday consumers."
 Its that time again! 📢

Nhat Pham, Sherman Photographer
What do you enjoy the most about being a member of the Sherman Center has a grad student?

Hi I’m Nhat and I’m a photographer at the Sherm. I just joined NU this semester as a Master student in Data Science. I’m from Vietnam and I have been living in Boston for 3 years.
Being a member of the Sherman Center has so far made my experience at NU much more wholesome. As a grad student, I was worried I would feel a bit detached from the NU community, not everyone is a full-time student so we don’t have lots of opportunities to hang out. Sherman Center definitely changed my attitude about that. I truly feel a sense of community here. Everyone is very open-minded, welcoming, creative, and focused. The best part about being a photographer at the Sherm is that I get to work with an amazing team, attend different meetings, events, and meet new people. Ted has been a great leader/ mentor and our ops team has such great dynamics and talents!

📢Stay Tuned!
