Happy Friday, Huskies! This week, we are excited to introduce our new Sherman undergraduate inclusivity, research team. Also, our courses are now open for spring registration  🎉

Meet the Sherman Center Inclusivity Research Team!

This semester, 11 undergraduate students will be joining the Sherman Center as the Inclusive Space Research Team. These students will be working on identifying ways to make the Sherman Center more inclusive, starting off with interviewing members of the Sherm community to get their thoughts.

"So we've finished recruiting for this project and are currently working on interviewing users of the Sherman Center space and conducting literature reviews on certain minority groups, especially people with disabilities and neurodiverse students, on their learning experiences in higher education,” says Aya Aragon, a member of the Inclusive Space Research Team. “We're taking that information and viewing it through industrial design and user experience lens, to inform how we design the Sherman Center! We hope by the end of the semester to have a report with our findings and suggestions for improvement, so we can enact our changes this coming spring."
