Joe Blanchet, 4th-year

What's your role and favorite aspect about the Sherm?

My name is Joe Blanchet and I am a fourth-year Bioengineering student with a concentration in Biomechanics. I'm new to the Sherman Center, having only joined the Operations Team at the beginning of this semester, but it has already become one of my favorite parts of Northeastern. The Sherm has such a powerful community with loads of resources, and people are always willing to help each other with anything. On the Ops Team, I am a co-host on The ShermCast, the Sherman Center's very own engineering entrepreneurship podcast. I have learned so much from this opportunity and I was even able to secure a future co-op at WHOOP after interviewing a WHOOP Senior Director of Software. With the help of this role, and Sherm Director Ted Johnson, I have been able to grow and better determine what I want for my future, and I really hope I can join the team again at some point in my collegiate career.

📢Stay Tuned!
