Last week, I was having fun with my banana vat indigo dye process. This banana vat was more stable than the fructose vat and allowed me to get a vibrant blue over and over. Next time, I am going to try the dates vat. While I was tying my fabrics with rubber bands, cotton twine, and popsicle sticks, I didn't pay much attention to these helping tools. But after I finished my process, I realized how beautiful my helping tools are! It was such a humble moment. Without their help, I could not have gotten the result that I wanted!

I am happy to announce that my work, ' Dreamy Blue' was selected for the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts' "FIBER ART SHOW, the expressive  & innovative" juried by Carole Beadle. Thanks to my dear friend, Miran Lim Lee, who sent me the call for artists link! The Artist Roundtable
and opening reception will be on April 5. Please come and say hello!

Korea textile Tour
The Korean government lifted the mandatory quarantine requirement.

'Starting from April 1, 2022, vaccinated travelers who have completed vaccination overseas AND register their vaccination history through the Quarantine COVID19 Defence (Q-Code) system BEFORE traveling to Korea will be eligible for quarantine exemption. Vaccination is considered to be complete 14 days after the 2nd shot for a two-dose vaccine (valid up to 180 days) or with booster shots.'

However, Travel. state.gov's advisory is still level 4.  And the number of cases is still making me hesitant to visit as a group in October 2022. So I have decided to wait until we all feel more comfortable traveling.

New 2023 tour dates will be announced later this year. Thank you!
