Have You Lived Up to Your Commitment?

At the Time is Now, we asked participants to respond to the following question: “What one or two goals will you set for yourself based on what you’ve learned at The Time is Now?” Respondents wrote their answers on a postcard, and we mailed them out earlier this month. Here’s some of what people wrote:

Appreciate resistance. Listen to the why, when, and who behind the hesitation and resistance.”
Voice of the workers. Understanding those involved to leverage what job qualities are important to them to build strategies to onboard new and growth oriented individuals.
Be an agent of change. Be a troublemaker for GOOD!!!

Announcing Executive Search

The National Fund for Workforce Solutions has begun searching for a new president and CEO. After a decade of leadership, Fred Dedrick will step down as president and CEO in early 2020. His decision to step down comes at a time when the organization is in a strong position with a clear trajectory.
The next CEO will be identified by a search committee of National Fund board members, with additional support from Lynn R. Mayfield Consulting. The committee expects to have the next CEO identified and on board in March 2020, with no gap in leadership.
