RENEWING AND RE-FOUNDING EAST HOUSE

The campaign to Renew and Re-found Pearson College UWC took another step forward with a recent decision to move ahead with a top-to-bottom renovation of the East House student residence building.

ONE WORLD 2019: IS UPON US

“We wait in silence, everyone’s pulse racing, standing as a unit. We have been rehearsing for months, putting our hearts into it. The show is upon us now and with that, the curtains rise.”

On 15 &16 March 2019 at the McPherson Playhouse in Victoria, the entire student body of Pearson College UWC hosts their annual One World performance and expo. This show has been long in the works and is almost ready to present. The students, tech crew, emcees and production crew await to put on an energetic, heart-stopping performance in front of enthusiastic audiences. If you have not reserved your tickets yet, you still have an opportunity to be swept away by One World. Visit rmts.bc.ca or the ticket office at the McPherson Playhouse.

“Whenever I think about One World, I am suddenly taken back to the theatre with a racing heart beat, nervousness and excitement. Glances are shared in the dark as we wait for our act to start. Suddenly the curtain rises, the spot lights shines so brightly, nearly blinding me, the music swells and suddenly we push onto the stage with no hesitation and greet the audience.” ~ Matilda (YR 43/2018, Canada-NU)
