We're back! It's been a while since our last newsletter, but we have not been sitting still. We're happy to share some exciting updates and new projects with you.
KENAKO Award
We participated in the Messe der Brückenbauer at the KENAKO festival, where our founder Laura presented one of our current projects, a school in Koforidua, to a small jury. Our project won the second prize!
The KENAKO award recognises the most sustainable, innovative and convincing bridge-building projects, judged by a jury of experts, and we are honoured to have been a part of it.
Current Projects
We're currently working on the design plans for our new school, ROBA. The school in Koforidua, Ghana, is currently a church that is being used during weekdays as a school for around 70 pupils! Our plan is to build 6 classrooms from 1st to 6th grade to provide more space for a better learning environment and allow more children to enrol.
We are also working on the plans for a youth center in Douala, Cameroon, where children and young adolescents are to be strengthened in their school careers, their identity, values and their self-confidence through artistic and creative workshops and free access to literature. Another project we are working on in Africa is a collaboration with Fundación Khanimambo for the Humbi Farm project in Xai-Xai, Mozambique, implementing recycling techniques and bio-construction with materials from the region.
Lastly, we are excited to share that we are currently working on developing plans for two learning institutions in Colombia, in Santiago de Putumayo and La Ensenada. We are collaborating with local organizations to support local and indigenous communities who are currently lacking the proper infrastructure and opportunities for education.

Gütermarkt
We love sharing what we are up to. One of the ways we love to do that is by hosting a stand at Gütermarkt, where we organise interactive workshops for children and sell our products. If you'd like to support, you can shop our products online or find us at the next flea market on September 1st!
