Big news for today and tomorrow!

If you know Lee, then you know how much he loves to be in the moment. It is in this epic power of “now” where his creativity and artistry are most at home and come alive. At the same time, he’s a planner, a dreamer and a visionary.

There’s so much going on in the world of Lee Oskar right now and on the horizon:

The 40th Anniversary of Lee Oskar Harmonicas is coming up in 2023. We have some exciting plans that we’ll be rolling out every month of next year in celebration of Lee’s longstanding collaboration with Tombo Manufacturing of Japan, which stands for superior  craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. In fact, Lee Oskar Harmonicas pioneered an interchangeable system of reed plates, combs and cover plates that has become the industry’s gold standard since 1983. Not only has LOH been manufacturing since 1983, we’ve been manufacturing the same product with the same exacting levels of quality!

We’re thrilled that Playing for Change has embraced Lee’s landmark project, “Never Forget”. through a recent promotion. Lee has been a proud supporter of this global organization for the past several years, in support of music education around the world.

Lee Oskar's "Passages Through Music: Never Forget" now available in the Playing For Change online store.

Lee Oskar Harmonicas has gone green! We’ve developed new environmentally-friendly packaging that has generated a lot of buzz and appreciation among retailers and ultimately consumers! We’ve said goodbye to plastic and hello to eco-conscious recycled paper-based materials.

SHHHH...

for now, but not long! We have some HUGE news about a first-ever collaboration with Lee Oskar Harmonicas. Though our lips are sealed for now… we’ll be sharing this groundbreaking news very soon. Watch our LOH newsletter for the BIG announcement!

“The son of a Holocaust survivor, Copenhagen-born Lee Oskar comes to terms with his family’s experiences on this profoundly moving musical memoir. Composed, produced and illustrated by

the 74-year-old harmonica virtuoso, Never Forgets represents a pinnacle in his career.” Bill Milkowski (Downbeat Magazine)

“Lee Oskar’s songs like “Far Away Dreams” and “Song From Mom” become a healing force to those terrible memories from World War II. In many ways, the soaring notes from the man’s harmonica allow the human spirit to move toward healing, even all these years later, and find a place where uplifting sounds takes the place of memories of war. The way these songs offer a path past the lowest depths of human depravity is a miracle in the making, and one that Lee Oskar will always honor. Never ever forget.”—Bill Bentley (Americana Highways/Bentley’s Bandstand)
