As 2021 draws to a close, I wanted to take this moment and reflect with gratitude on all that has taken place throughout this year in the world of Lee Oskar Harmonicas, my new record label, Dreams We Share™, and beyond. Despite all the changes and restrictions caused by the pandemic, we have adapted and found creative ways to connect virtually and musically—sharing our love for the harmonica and for music in our communities and around the world.

Now more than ever, we need music in our lives for our own inner peace, peace among us, and in the world.  I am deeply honored to share my original music with you as well as the music of other highly talented musicians through Dreams We Share™. Please see below to hear “Miracle Children” from my about-to-be-released album, “Never Forget.” This melody represents liberation and promise…coming out of darkness into the shining light of hope. This piece is dedicated to the enduring bonds of family: my brother Rolf, my son Nate, my daughter Stephanie, my grandchildren Nikko, Dia and Jasmine, cousins and second cousins.

I hope that this music touches and inspires you.

With warm wishes for a happy holiday season and a year of good health, love, harmony and peace ahead to you and yours,

- Lee Oskar

Lee Oskar - Miracle Children - Preview

Speaking of children, we are excited to introduce you to Lee’s son, Nate Oskar, our new Director of Business Development!

About Nate Oskar, Director of Business Development

We all have heard the cliché that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, but there is no mention of desire from some apples to travel around a little first for some life experience before setting roots.

Lee’s son, Nate, has joined the Lee Oskar Enterprises business family after a couple decades of—as he puts it—‘being in the business of business’. He returns with a resume that covers corporates, small businesses, startups and entrepreneurship.

Nate lives outside Portland and enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Felicia, as well as their four awesome kids. He enjoys printing, people, art and of course: music. He and Felicia can often be found adventuring on a day off to a hot new food truck or gritty makers market.

With his direct experience in brand development, sales, marketing, negotiations, management and merchandising, he looks forward to collaborating with the team to empower more people to pick up an instrument and play.

In Nate's words, “I was just a little dude when Lee Oskar Harmonicas launched. I have proudly watched my father’s vision expand and grow over decades and always wanted to be involved but knew that I needed to bring some talents and experience of my own to the mix in order to contribute in a meaningful way. I am excited that the time has finally come. I am here to learn and grow and share some perspectives I have picked up on my own journey. I have always known that these are the best harmonicas and now I get to help tell the world why.”

We’re delighted to share new arrangements of Lee’s original compositions, performed by Lee Oskar & Friends through Dreams We Share! Enjoy this recording of Morning Rush, which is now available for download here.

Lee Oskar in the News

Check out this recently published Q & A with music journalist Mike Limnios about Lee’s latest project, “Never Forget.”  As Lee says In this interview, "I hope the message of my music is that we, as humans, have so much in common that goes far beyond our differences, and we can find peace through music, the universal language that bonds humanity together. If I could change one thing in the world it would be that everyone could find their niche in life, and something that they love to do. I think this would lead to lasting peace among people if people had internal peace." BLUES.GR
