Lee Oskar is SO proud to be featured in Playing For Change's new Song Around The World video "Natural Mystic/Just a Little Bit," along with Paula Fuga, Jack Johnson, and other musicians from 6 countries.

About "Natural Mystic/Just a Little Bit":

A note from PFC co-founder and producer Mark Johnson:
The original idea for this Bob Marley Song Around The World was born back in 2013 when the PFC crew first visited the Congo.  Mark asked himself, “How can we live in a world that allows people to live like this, with virtually no food, no money, and no hope?” The lyric, “Things are not the way they used to be...one and all got to face reality” came to mind as he looked out into the river of garbage running through the city. “Natural Mystic always felt so deep in its groove and lyrics and it seemed as important and urgent as what I was seeing all around me," says Mark.

We need to rise up and make the planet a better place right now for ourselves, our children, and all living things. “Just a Little Bit” written and performed by Paula Fuga was added as a medley to “Natural Mystic” to take the music from minor key to the major key—from the darkness to the light.

FEATURED ARTIST NEWS & MUSIC

In memoriam - Cecilia LoForti, “Ms Harmonica” (1959-2018)
Lee Oskar Harmonicas Featured Artist since 2015

With great sadness, we announce the recent passing of  “Ms Harmonica”, a special human being who had tremendous passions for music, people, and traveling around the world.
Born Cecilia LoForti, Ms Harmonica artfully combined her love of harmonica, globe-trotting adventure, art, graphics, different cultures and the universal language of music to create a unique blog, known as thetravelingharmonica.com. Through this interesting and colorful project, she shared engaging stories and images from what she termed her “JamTrotting” musical adventures as she traveled to places near and far….always with her harmonica. Most of all, she shared her warm heart and love of music wherever she went. In fact, she was a big inspiration for our “For All, For Life”  Campaign, which was built on the key idea that people of all ages and stages of life, backgrounds, musical abilities and preferences can enjoy playing many different genres of music on the harmonica, throughout their lifetimes.

Dickerson, Lonnie Jordan, Lee Oskar and Papa Dee Allen), when they performed as the American funk band WAR. This song appeared on their album, "Why Can't We Be Friends"?, released in 1975, which reached #1 on the Billboard R&B chart and peaked at # 7 on the Pop Singles chart.
