House Fire in The Greenway / Upper Kirby Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a 1-story detached garage in the rear of a home. They began an attack on the fire which was extending to a vehicle in the driveway and eaves of the house. Crews performed a primary search and checked for extension in the home. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 6, 8, 3, 16, 37, 16, 33 and Rehab responded to this incident.
