The cause was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson investigators.

|
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a 1-story home and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the house and conducted a primary search. Crews forced entry and found a fire in one of the rooms. They extinguished the fire and pulled ceiling to check for extension. Firefighters from Stations 23, 26, 46, 25, 35, 40, 18 and 24 responded to this incident.
