HPD & DPS Share Auto Burglary Prevention Tips 
 

HOUSTON – Sergeant Tracy Hicks of the Houston Police Department Auto Theft Division, along with Lieutenant Craig Cummings of the Texas Department of Public Safety, gave brief remarks today adjacent to the George R. Brown Convention Center to remind everyone of the following safety tips to help avoid becoming an auto burglary victim:
 

  1. REMOVE all valuables in your vehicle from plain view
  2. LOCK all doors and roll up your windows
  3. REPORT any suspicious activity or persons
