When Democracy Stands in the Balance

Hi <<First Name>>

If you've been paying attention to the news this past week, I suspect you may be experiencing the same level of outrage as I am for a lawless president and the Republican enablers defending his crimes.

Our own Florida senators, Marco Rubio and Rick Scott along with our governor, Ron DeSantis, all stand by the president regardless of his malfeasance.  As you know, we lost those elections by razor-thin margins and we're destined to have a repeat in 2020 if we don't do something different to increase voter turnout and combat voter suppression in 2020.

We don't have a minute to lose with less than 13 months until the election. Florida can be the key to defeating the GOP in 2020 and Osceola County is right in the middle of the battle zone. What we do here in Osceola County can make a difference in the outcome of the presidential election. I am calling on all  Democrats to join us as we take up the fight to turn Florida blue.

What can you do today to help defeat Trump?

Come to our last meeting of the year on October 24th and sign up to join us.  Get to know your fellow Democrats at our Fall Fundraiser party "Eat to Defeat Trump" on November 6th. We're raising much-needed money to fund the headquarters and election operations. There will be plenty of like-minded Democrats for an evening of fun, food, and camaraderie. Scroll down for details and reserve your spot today!

And don't hesitate to call or text me personally (or reply to this email) to discuss how you can get into the action.

Best regards,
Debbie Gale
Osceola County Democratic Party Chair
