Pondtent's Weekly Marketing Tips
Door Hangers: Simple and Effective
This week we designed a door hanger for our employees to hang after we service a pond.
It's extremely important to communicate with your customers both before and after a sale or service. Door hangers are just one of many tools we use to relay information to ours.
It is fairly simple to create a door hanger for your business by using templates found online. For example, Aquascape has a version of their customizable door hanger on their Vistaprint page. We opted to have our designer create a customized sample based on a template we liked. We put all the questions and answers that we felt would be most beneficial to our clients on the hanger. Then, we asked our team members to go over the copy to make sure we covered everything since they will be the one's using it on a regular basis.
Door hangers do not need to have an abundant amount of text in order to be effective. The main components include your logo, simple information such as date, employee that performed the task, service type, and whether a follow up is needed or not. Most importantly, there should be contact information for your company easily noticeable on one or both sides of the hanger. What makes this tool successful is the fact that it is another tangible reminder to contact your business for further work or referrals in the future.
If you have something you leave behind after servicing your clients, let us know!
