What did we do this week when it rained?
We used to send our foreman home and we would get various items done around the office. Now, rainy days are marketing days!
We had purchased a list of garden centers throughout the Philadelphia area that we use to reach out to when looking for potential marketing opportunities. Whenever it rains Matt and our foreman, Eric, go out and visit these centers.
It’s important that they don’t go empty handed. They always take rack cards and brochure holders with them in hopes of an opportunity to leave them behind. If you only have postcards, flyers or business cards, that can work too.
Today for example, they visited two garden centers, One was closed, but the other one was not only interested in a display pond, they were also willing to put our rack cards out!
You never know where you'll end up on a rainy day!
