A New Time In Worship This Weekend

We are continuing our return to in-person worship with three worship services this weekend. 5 p.m. Saturday or 9 a.m. Traditional, or 11 a.m. Celebration Worship. YES – we are moving the celebration worship a little earlier; and both the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services will be live on starting this weekend. We encourage you to continue to use this as your primary worship experience until we reach later Phases for in-person activities (see more below).

A Number of precautions remain in place to protect the health of worshipers, volunteers, and staff.

Preaching: Pastor Steve Knudson
Scripture: Acts 8:26-40; John 15:1-8
Sermon: Rooted in Jesus, Reaching out in Love

This Sunday’s image of how the risen Christ shares his life with us is the image of the vine. Christ the vine and we the branches are alive in each other, in the mystery of mutual abiding described in the gospel and the first letter of John. Baptism makes us a part of Christ’s living and life-giving self and makes us alive with Christ’s life. As the vine brings food to the branches, Christ feeds us at his table. We are sent out to bear fruit for the life of the world.

Communion Sunday
This Weekend will also feature Holy Communion as part of our streaming worship service. Please prepare your bread and wine or water in advance and  Visit our Communion Page for details.

Sunday Morning Learning

Grief Support for Pandemic Losses

This last year has been a year of remarkable difficulty in many ways, and for some it had the added dimension of the death of someone close. Our Pandemic protocols of small, virtual or no funeral service can contribute to a lack of closure and heightened or prolonged grief.
Join Pastor Mark Urlaub this Sunday, 10-11 a.m. as he helps us look toward the future and hold a brief service of commendation for those we love and have lost.  Join Zoom Meeting
