Your Gift Matched

The Farming Hope Board of Directors will match up to $25,000 this season. Give today!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday week, our Apprentices and kitchen staff cooked over 3,100 turkey meals and 1,500 apple crisps for food insecure families. These meals and the valuable kitchen training they provide our Apprentices are only made possible through the generous support of you, our community. And the season isn't over - we're on track to cook over 2,300 meals and over 1,000 desserts in the last few weeks of the year.

Be a part of someone's holiday table, and contribute today.

Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by December 31.
Our Board of Directors is will match donations coming in from now until the end of the year, up to $25,000.

Welcome Phil Saneski, Farming Hope's new Culinary Manager.
Phil will be leading the resurgence of our long awaited community dinners with a new twist: Guest Chefs and free weekly meal service for families experiencing food insecurity, hosted right here at Refettorio SF. For me, this is a dream come true to get to work with Phil, who has incredible skills, passion, and a heart of gold. It's a dream for Phil, too, who said years ago over dinner he'd love to manage Farming Hope's menus. Official bio:

Phil Saneski has worked in Michelin-Star kitchens and served on the board of the Research Chefs Association. His curiosity about ingredients considered “waste” and his passion for formulating delicious products at every scale led him to be VP of Product for ReGrained, an upcycled food start-up; then led product development for CCD Innovation, a food & bev consultancy in the Bay Area. He is an evangelist about upcycled foods and how chefs can extend their "shelf-life." Phil is a Bay Area native who has always believed in a more equitable food system and looks for any reason to host a collaborative pop up.
