Recap: La Festa di Farming Hope

We are just $10,000 shy of our $100,000 goal for La Festa, support today to push us across the finish line!

Thank you all for your generosity and enthusiasm about our fall fundraiser, La Festa di Farming Hope in support of our job training, community meals, and food recovery. We welcomed over 100 guests to Refettorio San Francisco for an evening celebrating our mission with amazing food from Chef Traci des Jardins, Chef Bill Corbett of Salesforce, A16, LihoLiho, Delfina, Flour + Water, Acquerello, Zuni Cafe, and our own Farming Hope culinary team.

We sold incredible auction items thanks to Alice Waters, Michael Tusk, and Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore. We also live auctioned the first ever Farming Hope Apprentice Cookbook. Thank you to our live auction winner Joan! We can't wait to hear what you cook first.

A huge thank you again to our sponsors Pilot Light Consulting, Salesforce, Tidewater Capital, and Nic & Claudia Volpi. Together, we raised over $90,000 to support our mission. That's equal to nearly 7,000 free meals for food insecure families and wages for eight Apprentices in our 12-week program.

Join A Future Apprentice Graduation at Refettorio

We were so lucky to have many program graduates and their families attend La Festa. We heard from Donald, now employed at A16, and Brian, now employed at Nopa. Donald and Brian shared their stories of hope and perseverance and how our Farming Hope community helped them gain full-time employment. Want to hear from our graduates? Come to a graduation, happening Fridays every six weeks. Email program@farminghope.org to find out more.
