Many of you already know my passion for stress reduction therapies. It is widely accepted that stress is the cause of 80-90% of disease. I also have a passion for nutrition and much of my practice is about correcting underlying deficiencies so the body can function optimally. I offer testing to uncover these root causes. Much of what we are deficient in are deficiencies we can't take standard supplements for. Chemical isolates are never a replacement for real nutrition as there are so many cofactors in foods that can only be replaced by food or food concentrates. When we supplement with isolated chemicals, we end up depleting ourselves with that which can not be easily replenished; thus creating a problem that furthers the underlying deficiency.
The below article, caught my attention because of the word coherence. I have been certified to teach and coach the Connection Practice which incorporates HeartMath’s coherence technique. For an interesting read - take a look. This is one of three resources I would recommend for general health and an attitude check up (I really mean that – our general attitude towards supplementation has been influenced by the drug industry. It really takes quite the re-education of what true nutrition really is to move away from the ideology of taking something to remedy something). I am a big believer in taking supplements, as most of you know. However, it is to prevent nutritional deficiency – the cause of all diseases, aside from the impact stress has). On this note, I have a free event THIS SUNDAY - August 15th - an intro to the Connection Practice. Please join me via zoom and register HERE. Also, check out my blog post and video about it!🙏
If you've been following my blog, I have been on a roll with resources. I like you to be well equip and so, here are some more of my favorites:
2. This is small book, chock full of great information. I wish more people had this kind of information. Reading the labels of SP's supplements, it is difficult to understand the clinical benefits: LEE LECTURES EDIT BY JILL 8-2000 TESTING.doc (seleneriverpress.com) 3. Dr. Weston A. Price - The Weston A. Price Foundation (westonaprice.org): “Dr. Weston A. Price (1870-1948), a Cleveland dentist, has been called the “Isaac Newton of Nutrition.” In his search for the causes of dental decay and physical degeneration that he observed in his dental practice, he turned from test tubes and microscopes to unstudied evidence among human beings. Dr. Price sought the factors responsible for fine teeth among the people who had them–isolated non-industrialized people. The world became his laboratory."
This completes my list of my top three go-to resources; I hope you enjoy. I hope to see you at my event - A Conversation of Connection to learn more about how I am using a practice rooted in science to reduce stress. I would like to share this proven process with you. It needs to be taught in schools, to professionals and everyone everywhere. This technique is in several countries now and used in some city’s social justice programs (Restorative Justice) to reduce the congestion in the courts by Connection Mediation.
