Mile High Labs Purchases Sandoz Inc. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility
Company makes largest infrastructure purchase in
CBD market history

Boulder-based Mile High Labs acquired Sandoz Inc. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility for $18.8 million. The 400,000-square-foot Broomfield campus will be used to make private label products including tinctures, capsules, tablets, topicals and gummies.

Danone Waters of America Reincorporates as PBC; Achieves B Corp Certification
Company’s fully owned subsidiaries now all part of a certified B Corp

Broomfield-based Danone North America obtained B Corp Certification and reincorporated as a Public Benefit Corporation to accelerate the company’s commitment to social and environmental welfare.
All of Danone’s U.S. subsidiaries are now B Corp certified, accelerating the company’s goal to become one of the first multinational food companies to be fully B Corp Certified.

Madhava Rebrands and Enters Olive Oil Category

Industry-leader in natural sweeteners emphasizes product purity
Boulder-based Madhava, a long-standing industry leader in the natural sweeteners category, rebranded from Madhava Natural Sweeteners to Madhava and entered the olive oil category. A new brand logo and packaging design will be featured on products across all categories to reflect the company’s renewed focus to achieve the highest standard of purity for its products, all of which are certified by the Clean Label Project.

Lily’s Sweets Launches Peanut Butter Cups 

Company expands portfolio of no-added-sugar sweets
Boulder-based Lily’s Sweets announced the release of stevia-sweetened peanut butter cups in both dark chocolate and milk chocolate flavors. The non-GMO, Fair Trade and gluten-free certified cups debuted at Sweets & Snacks Week in Chicago and are now available online and in stores.

Wilde Debuts New Chicken Chips Flavors

The “un-potato chip” company expands snack offerings
Boulder-based Wilde announced three new flavors of Chicken Chips: Nashville Hot, Chicken + Waffles, and Himalayan Pink Salt. The paleo, gluten-free and grain free meat-based protein chips deliver 15 grams of protein per bag. 34 Degrees Unveils New Look for Savory Crisp Line
New packaging debuts at summer Fancy Food Show

Denver-based 34 Degrees announced its launch of new Savory Crisps packaging. The design features modern fonts, brighter colors and a streamlined logo and image of a topped crisp. Six flavor varieties will be available later in 2019.

Boulder’s Chef Ann Receives ‘Food Hero’ Title
Local food sustainability and nutrition advocate honored

Boulder-based Chef Ann Foundation was featured in EatingWell magazine when founder Chef Ann was announced a 2019 American Food Hero. Chef Ann, who is also Director of Food Services for Boulder Valley School District, was honored for her commitment to improving nutrition in school cafeterias.
